Good News: WWII Vet Gets Flat Tire Fix From Chick-fil-A Manager

When a regular customer at a Chick-fil-A in Severn, Maryland arrived at the restaurant with a flat tire, caring staff made sure he didn’t leave that way.

The man, a 96-year-old World War II veteran known as Mr. Lee, told manager Daryl Howard about his predicament when he ordered his usual chicken biscuits and coffee and the manager jumped up to help.

It only took about 15 minutes for Howard to change Mr. Lee’s tire so he was ready to hit the road again. “His act of kindness was so beautiful,” fellow manager Rudy Somoza says. “Daryl has always been so helpful to anyone in need.”
