Police in Elmwood Place, Ohio, are praising a young boy who stepped up to help them catch a man accused of firing a gun near a playground over the weekend.
When shots were fired, the police were called and when they arrived, one child approached the officers and told them which man was the one who fired the gun.
“He was only 10, 11 years old,” explained Elmwood Police Lieutenant T.J. Johnson. “He had the courage to go up to the police officer in that moment and say, ‘Hey, he’s the guy.’”
Police made the arrest, which they say wouldn’t have been possible without the brave boy’s help.
