Check out the charcuterie chalet--the latest holiday food trend replacing gingerbread, icing and candy with cold cuts, cheese, fresh fruit and veggies in the shape of a home. Some creative crafters have also used breadsticks, crackers and pretzels along with soft cheeses which can act as glue to hold the structure together or be used to make snowmen. Sprigs of fresh herbs can also double as trees. Just remember to throw your charcuterie chalet in the fridge.
