WTAM Broadcasts Cavs Media Day Interviews Monday From 7 P.M. to 10 P.M.

The Cavaliers are gearing up for the 2021-2022 season as it all gets underway at “Cavs Media Day” on Monday, September 27th. WTAM’s Mike Snyder and Greg Brinda will broadcast interviews from Cleveland Clinic Courts from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. You’ll hear from head coach J.B. Bickerstaff and what his expectations are for the season.

Some of the key additions to the Cavaliers are Evan Mobley and Lauri Markkanen and you’ll hear from them too. Mobley, was the #3 pick in the NBA draft. The 7-footer out of USC was the PAC-12 Player of the Year, the PAC-12 Defensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year in 2021.He is only the second player to win all three awards in a major conference joining Anthony Davis. Markkanen was the 7th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. He made the NBA All-Rookie team in 2018 and came to the Cavs in a trade from the Bulls where he shot .402 from 3-point range last season.

With the signing of center Jarrett Allen to a long-term deal, the Cavaliers have solidified the frontcourt with the additions of Mobley and Markkanen. Plus, they have Colin Sexton, Darrius Garland and Issaac Okoro all returning.
