Courteney Cox Visits The 'Friends' Apartment In NYC: 'Miss Those Days'

Fans of Friends aren't the only ones who get a little nostalgic for the beloved '90s sitcom. The cast does, too. Not only did Courteney Cox recently recreate the iconic "pivot" scene from the show, she just visited her character Monica Geller's old apartment building in New York.

"Goodnight guys, I'm going home!" Courteney calls out in the video as she walks toward the building used in all the exterior shots in Friends. She even added a snippet of the mid-episode music played while scenes were changing on the show to the video, as well.

Courteney's Instagram caption also paid tribute to the show that made her a household name, styling it in the same way every episode title of Friends was styled. "The One Where My Rent Went Up $12,000," she wrote. She even added "miss those days" as hashtag.

Though Friends fans have been holding out hope for a reboot of the show, it doesn't seem like that's going to be happening any time soon. Marta Kauffman, the show's creator, shut down speculation about a reunion at Central Perk. “There are several reasons. One, the show is about a time in your life when your friends are your family. It’s not that time anymore," she told Rolling Stone. All we’d be doing is putting those six actors back together, but the heart of the show would be gone," she explained. "Two, I don’t know what good it does us. The show is doing just fine, people love it. [A reunion] could only disappoint. ‘The One Where Everyone’s Disappointed.'”

Despite Kauffman's comments, Jennifer Aniston has expressed interest in getting the gang back together before. “The girls always say we would love to do it again, and the boys are a little less excited about it for some reason,” she said. “We [could] just give it some time and then Lisa [Kudrow], Courteney and I could reboot Golden Girls and spend our last years together on wicker furniture.”

We may not get an actual spinoff or reboot of Friends, but Courteney, Jen, and Lisa are always down to have some fun when it comes to the beloved sitcom. Between Courteney's nostalgic Instagram posts, Jen's willingness to recreate the show for late night talk show skits, and Lisa's live performance of 'Smelly Cat' at a Taylor Swift concert, Friends lives on in its own special way. The co-stars friendship IRL is pretty great, too!
