(Cleveland Hts)The First Merit Bank located at 87 Circle, Cleveland Heights was robbed Tuesday morning at approximately 9:59am.

The two subjects are described as black males in their approximate 20’s, thin build. One suspect brandished a handgun and jumped over the counter, telling the employees to get down on the ground.

The other suspect stood by the door making sure no one entered the branch. The suspects wore dark hoodies with skull caps underneath of the hoodies.

They both were wearing grey sweatpants , one suspect was wearing sneakers and the other was wearing “Timberland style boots”.

The suspects both fled the scene on foot. No physical injuries were reported and no direction of travel was observed.

 It is believed these individuals may be the same individuals responsible for the armed robbery that occurred at the Ohio Savings Bank on Lee Road in Cleveland Heights on November 22, 2013.

These individuals should be considered armed and dangerous. Tips can be provided to the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400 or the Cleveland Heights Police Department.

 Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible for these robberies.
