(Parma) - The Parma Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying and locating a male suspect who robbed a Parma bank Wednesday afternoon.

Police say that about 4 p.m., a man walked into the Fifth Third Bank branch at 6953 Ridge Road in Parma. He walked up to a teller and handed a note to the teller demanding money while also holding a hangun. After receiving an unspecified amount of money, the man fled the bank in an unknown direction.

The man was described as white, approximately 6’ tall, slender, wearing a gray colored knit hat, a blue colored denim jacket with a gray hoodie, dark colored pants with a stripe down the sides and white shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Parma Police Department at 440-885-1234 or the Cleveland Office of the FBI at 216-522-1400.
