(Fairview Park) - A person is in custody for making threats to Gilles-Sweet Elementary School.

Students were sent home Monday morning following a bomb threat, the second in recent days.

During the initial evacuation, all students were taken to the New Hope Church as officials searched the building.

The Fairview Park Police Lt. Erich Upperman tells Newsradio WTAM 1100 that  32-year-old Brian Wasko was in custody, suspected of making Monday’s threat along with another recent threat.

The Lt. Upperman says Wasko allegedly texted the threat and then signed the name of another person, against whom he has a grudge.

Wasko was charged with two counts of inducing panic. He was arraigned via video by the Rocky River Municipal Court.

Bomb sniffing dogs were called in, but Lt. Upperman says the all clear was give. Even with a confession from the suspect, they decided to do the search just for peace of mind.
