(Downtown) - Democratic candidates running for the job of Cuyahoga County executive debated at the Cleveland City Club this afternoon.

State Sen. Shirley Smith, State Rep. Armond Budish, former Cuyahoga County Sheriff Bob Reid, activist Tim Russo, former North Olmsted Mayor Thomas O’Grady and artist Walter Allen Rogers Jr. answered a variety of questions, mostl involving jobs, and economic development.

Budish is considered to be the frontrunner. The winner of the May 6th Democratic Primary will face lone Republican Jack Schron, who is currently a Cuyahoga County councilman.
