(Cleveland) - A Solon girl is celebrating the memory of a lifetime provided by an artist who her family says saved her life.

Bruno Mars held a private concert for 11-year-old Zumyah Thorpe and her grandparents this past weekend before his Saturday night's concert at Quicken Loans Arena.

Zumyah survived a brain injury suffered in a crash after listening to Mars' music while in a coma.

The singer says Zumyah is an inspiration and he wanted to give something back.
