(Cleveland) - Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy McGinty announced thathis office has thoroughly reviewed the BCI and Solon Police Department investigations surrounding the March 17, 2013, shooting of 22-year-old Kevin Bailey by members of the Solon Police Department.

Bailey attacked officers during a traffic stop, before officers shot him dead.

The McGinty says investigators have concluded that the facts do not warrant any further action, and this matter is now closed.

Patrolman Steven Davis was struck in the arm and ballistic vest by gunshots from Bailey. He is a current member of the South East Area Law Enforcement SWAT team. He underwent additional surgery to remove glass fragments from his hand.

Patrolman Nicholas Kline had several shots strike his patrol vehicle as well and is a current member of the Valley Enforcement Group SWAT Perimeter team. The gun used by Bailey was a semi automatic pistol.

Bailey was 22 years old, and from Sylvania Township, near Toledo.
