(Bedford) - Eric Calhoun of Warrensville Heights is being held on $1 million bond, after being charged with four counts of aggravated vehicular homicide. His case now goes to a Cuyahoga County grand jury.

The 48 year old Calhoun is accused of causing the Bedford traffic crash that killed a pregnant 30 year old Maria Thorpe and her two young daughters.

A 10 year old daughter continues to cling to life and remains in critical condition a week after the crash.

Police say Calhoun has a history of drug trafficking, and may have been drunk when he ran a red light at Northfield Road and Berwyn Drive.
