(Cleveland) - An 8-year-old boy who was taken by his non-custodial father is safe. The incident triggered an Amber Alert by Cleveland Police Monday morning.
The missing child, Kevin Criss Jr., along with the suspect vehicle and suspect were located on Cleveland Road in Huron, Ohio, by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office and Huron Police.
The child is in good health and unharmed. 36-year-old Kevin Criss Sr. was placed under arrest. They were last seen at a home at 3734West Boulevard Sunday.
Criss took the child from a family member, saying he was taking him swimming at a hotel, police said. Police say Criss e is a suspected meth addict with violent and paranoid tendencies. He told family members he was going to California.
