(CLEVELAND) -- The Indians and New York Yankees have already rescheduled two postponed games from this past week for May 13.

The Tribe and Yankees will meet in a traditional doubleheader at Progressive Field beginning at 12:05 pm ET. The second game of the doubleheader will begin 20 minutes following the first contest.

The Yankees opened up Cleveland's home schedule on April 8 and the two clubs also played the following night, however their Wednesday and Thursday evening games were postponed due to inclement weather.

Following a three-game weekend series with the Tigers in Detroit, the Indians will stop home on Monday, May 13, for the doubleheader with New York, before traveling to Philadelphia for a two-game series with the Phillies. The Indians then have an off day scheduled for Thursday, May 16.

The Indians continue their homestand Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox before traveling to Houston next weekend to begin a three-game weekend series with the Astros.
