The Monkees are heading back out on the road. The surviving members of the group, which features Michael Nesmith, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork, have a slate of shows scheduled in late spring.
The 14-date trek is set to begin in Hampton, New Hampshire on May 22nd and wrap up in Northfield, Ohio on June 7th.
Peter says he's "happily looking forward" to the band's latest reunion to perform for "friends and fans in more places." Mike echoes that he's "happy to be going back out playing the music," and he's sure they'll "have fun." Micky adds that he "can't wait to hang out with Papa Nez and the Torkmiester."
The upcoming trek will be The Monkees' third tour in three years. In 2012, following the death of band member Davy Jones, Nesmith, Dolenz, and Tork reunited for a tour that marked their first U.S. concert dates with Mike since 1970. They toured again last summer, telling "Rolling Stone" the reaction to their 2012 trek made it "pretty apparent there was a demand for another one."
